A loan of $525 helped to buy provisions for his store.

Alex's story

Alex, 43, is single and lives in a community in San Lorenzo, in the south of Honduras. He has two children whose food and education he supports financially. Alex has had his grocery store business for four years, and his customers prefer him because of the variety of products.

Alex is a good client who wants to get ahead. He's requesting the loan to buy soda, cosmetics, dairy products, juice, chicken, sugar, rice, beans, water, "churros" [fried dough snacks] cookies, soap, etc. Alex will invest the loan in his business to earn profits that will allow him to get ahead with his children and have a greater variety of products to sell to his customers.

Alex's dream is to continue working to prosper in his business and to continue improving his house.
