A loan of $2,300 helped to buy four calves and one milk cow.

Eldaniz's story

Eldaniz is very hardworking and friendly man of 32 years. He is married and an IDP (internally displaced person).

Eldaniz raises cattle and has seven years of experience in this field. He gets financial support from the government as an IDP, but it is too low to cover his family's needs.

Eldaniz usually buys small cattle, raises and fattens them in five to six months, and resells them for a more profitable price in the local livestock bazaar. Meat selling brings 100 AZN of income per month. People use beef in everyday national dishes such as pilau and dolma and always use yoghurt sauce.

This is the only financial income in his family and not enough to cover the basic needs of his beloved children.

Eldaniz applied for 1,800 AZN to purchase four calves and one milk cow.
