Francis is 45 years old and currently lives in a rented house, with his family. He owns his welding workshop, where he works repairing vehicles, bicycles, and motorcycles. He wants to expand his business, but he lacks enough working capital to do so. That is why he is asking for a loan in the amount of KES 40,000 to buy a welding machine and soldering wire, among other welding materials. He has been in this business for over 15 years.
