Getrida is a forty-year-old married woman with four children living in Kasese, Uganda. She has been selling clothes for twenty-three years and practices farming for additional income. After realizing that farming alone could not help her meet the day-to-day needs she decided to venture into her current business and has since reaped tangible benefits. Getrida is a member of the above mentioned group where each one guarantees the other in accessing a loan. Inadequate capital is her greatest challenge while her business plan is to own a boutique.
