Edina's story

Mambo from Mbeya, Tanzania! This is 30-year-old Edina M., who is married and has two children aged 5 and 12. She also has two other dependents living with her because they are attending school in the area. In 2000, Edina established her fish and soft drinks business. Assisted by her husband and two employees, working six days a week, 9 to 12 hours a day, she earns about $80 per month. Edina now requires a loan in order to purchase additional stocks of fish and soft drinks in bulk. She hopes that this loan will enable her to increase her monthly profits by approximately $87. In the future, Edina plans to open another business. She thanks you for your support.
