A loan of $1,375 helped to buy an Internet server and a variety of merchandise.

Rodrigo José's story

Rodrigo is 27, has an Internet café in his native city of San Jacinto, and also sells a variety of merchandise. He offers classes in Internet applications, hardware, and software and supports students who successfully complete the training. This business idea was an alternative way to earn income and to benefit from his knowledge and use it to serve his community. His first customers were students, teenagers, and homemakers. His goal is to better organize his business and increase his customer base, and he works very hard to achieve this dream.

He is applying for his first Kiva loan through Fundación Mario Santo Domingo to buy an Internet server and a variety of merchandise to meet his customers' orders. Rodrigo wants to make his Kiva loan a success by taking advantage of the high demand and offering desirable merchandise during the Christmas and New Year's season.
