Since she received her Kiva loan, Luz has improved in her work and in her family life. She has been able to offer a diverse set of designs, better finishing touches to her home, and a much larger and more open patio where she can share time with her family.

At present, she is applying for a new Kiva loan that she will use to buy raw materials and sewing supplies in large volume. She is preparing for the New Year season, a time when her number of customers grows; everyone wants to see themselves looking elegant and well-dressed in their clothing.

This is what she will do with her loan if her application is successful. Her message to Kiva is the following: "gratitude to all of the financial backers because little by little, I have improved, as much in my business as in my home."
