Jesus's story

Jesús, 41 years old, is a happy, idealistic and enterprising woman. She is separated from her partner and lives in the home of her parents together with her 8 year old child to whom she would like to give a good education and a better quality of life.

Jesús' work consists in the sale of fizzy drinks like beer of different brands and soda of various flavors. In the same way she sells sweets such as cookies, chocolates, caramels and fruit ice cream such as strawberry. coconut and pineapple, among other flavors. She sells her products in a locale inside the home of her parents. She has been running this business for 3 years. She comments that she started this business because of the lack of jobs and decided to generate her own income, to settle the expenses of the home. She counts on the help of her parents to prepare the various ice creams and for the purchase of the fizzy drinks. She considers her business profitable because her locale is located in a place that is much traveled by people from the whole city who consume the products that she sells. She comments that before starting this business she did not have the capital to start her own business. Thus she made the decision to take a loan and count on the capital help.

She hopes in the future to increase the production of her ice creams so that her business continues to grow. So this will be her loan number 3 with the MFP institution. She wants to continue being punctual with her payments, because things are going very well for her. As well her group motivates her so that she gets ahead with her business. With the amount requested, 1000 soles, she will invest in the purchase of fizzy drinks such as beer of different brands and sodas of various flavors. She will also buy sweets such as cookies, chocolates, caramels, etc. and will acquire fruits such as strawberries, coconuts and pineapples, among others.
