A loan of $1,100 helped to buy supplies like fabric and thread.

Luz Amparo's story

Luz Amparo, age 47, never imagined that she would end up establishing a seamstress shop. “Sometimes circumstances corner you, and you do things you never image.” With these words Luz starts to tell us that she started her business the day her husband separated from her. With four children, she needed ways to generate income and support her children. Therefore, she started making repairs for her neighbors. Later she used her savings to buy some machines in order to work for third parties and increase her income.

Her business has now been growing, and she needs to invest in supplies for the production that has been requested for the end of the year. For this reason she is requesting a loan because she does not have her own resources to make this investment.
