Naarkul's story

Naarkul is a 58-year-old married woman. She did not complete her college education, but she has worked in farming for many years and has a wealth of experience. She started her business with 7,500 som in 1992. Thanks to persistent work, Naarkul was able to develop her farm and it now brings her a monthly profit of 5,000 som. Naarkul's husband and daughter actively help her run the business. They organize milk sales. Today she has two cows, one steer, and five sheep on her farm.

With long term development of her farm in mind, Naarkul turned to Bai Tushum and Partners for a loan of 30,000 som to purchase a cow. A new cow will allow her to increase milk production to meet demand. She plans to invest the extra income in future development of her farm and to renovate her furniture.
