A loan of $400 helped to buy fresh food for resale.

Sophie's story

Sophie is a 47-year-old woman, the single mother of 3 children aged between 18 and 27, two of whom go to school. Despite her hearing problems, her eldest child is still following a course in sewing. The latter's mother, our customer Sophie, has been selling fresh food at a market in town for 10 years already. She enjoys a good experience in this line of work, which has allowed her to build up a considerable portfolio of clients.

She would like to use this loan to buy 10 melons, a net of oranges, a net of grapefruit, 10 bunches of plantains, 50 heads of pineapple and a box of tomatoes with which to reinforce her stock, so that she can better meet demand. The additional profits will enable her to better meet her family's needs.
