A loan of $1,500 helped to buy 1000 chickens and to pay for some she still owes on.

Blanca Rosa's story

Blanca, 45, has a companion. Her business is selling chickens. She started at the age of 12 selling with a woman who was her neighbor. This is how she grew to like the business; she’d travel to the capital to sell the chickens. It’s an activity she likes very much and thanks to her work the business has been growing. Another thing she likes is that he mother was also in the same business. The chickens are delivered to her at home because she’s a very well-known, responsible person. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays she heads to the nation’s capital in her pick-up to deliver the chickens. She works mostly on order since she already has her regular customers.

The loan she’s asking Fundación Campo for is to buy 1000 chickens and to pay for some she still owes on. In this way, she will greatly improve her income that will be useful for her to continue improving the business. Her greatest desire is to buy a house in the city because it would be more centrally located for the people who come by to sell her the chickens.
