A loan of $1,000 helped to buy four animals.

Carlos Ovidio's story

Carlos is 42, has a life partner and two children, and works hard. His father taught his to farm, which he has done more in the past two years and has harvested 32 sacks of corn. Though he is also a bricklayer, this work is not steady, and farming is his main income source. He buys his farming supplies in the city, which is a two-hour bus trip away.

He is applying to Fundación Campo for a loan to buy four animals because he would like to take advantage of the grass left from the corn harvest. He won't waste the grass and will earn more income that he can use to make improvements to his house and pay property title fees and his children's education expenses.
