Tseveldulam's story

Tseveldulam is 49 years old, and lives with her husband and son in Ger (a traditional yurt) in Uvurhangai province, Mongolia. Her husband Bold is aged 55 and works in a private construction company as a taskmaster. Her son Davaadagva is 23 years old, has graduated university and is looking for a job now. She has been working as saleswoman at a rental counter of the local market since 2000. She has built a close relationship with customers and suppliers over the years.

Tseveldulam is now planning to start her own business of a butcher shop at the local market. She is requesting 3'900'000MNT to purchase meat at a wholesale price from herders to sell it to both local customers at a retail price and companies producing meat products at a higher price than wholesale.
