A loan of $750 helped to pay for repair and maintenance of her rental apartment.

Letecia's story

This is Letecia, 41, a resident of Intramuros, Manila, Philippines. She is married to Joel, a welder, and she is a mother to her children. Together with her husband, she manages their household while operating the business. At this time, she is working hard to continually provide income for her everyday expenses.
Letecia operates an apartment rental business. The apartment is rented on a monthly basis. She earns a minimum of 3200 Philippine Pesos (PHP) in rentals every week.
To help her continue operating her business, she is requesting a loan of PHP 30,000. She will be utilizing the loan for the repair and maintenance of her apartment for rent. She expects a boost in her business income as she expands her business.
Letecia dreams to be able to add more business. She faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week and where she can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay Micro Finance loans.
