A loan of $2,250 helped a member to buy groceries, beverages and snacks.

Juventud Unida Group's story

Cordial Greetings. This communal bank is “Juventud Unida” (United Youth) and six dynamic, responsible people participate in it; they’ve been working four months. One of the members, Isabel, appears in the photo in the rear, first from the left, wearing a pink shirt and red vest. Hoping to have a business of her own and provide a better life for her children, Isabel started her business where she sells basic staples. With he fruits of her labor she’s been able to make home improvements and stay in business. Her current loan will be used to buy groceries, beverages and snacks to keep her store well-stocked. Her greatest wish is to continue to grow in business. Isabel is 40-years-old, separated and has two minor children. The “Juventud Unida” group thanks those people who made this loan possible.
