A loan of $650 helped to buy two bovines.

Mario Roberto's story

Mario, 55, is married and has four children. From the age of 12 he has earned a living in agriculture along with his two brothers. His childhood was difficult because his father didn't live with them, so he and his two brothers worked to support their mother and their younger siblings. They worked as employees of other people, but as time went by he got married and began to work on his own with his wife and older children.

To buy agricultural supplies he has to travel to a city five kilometers from his house, then pay for private transportation to get the supplies home.

The loan he's requesting from Fundación Campo is to buy two bovines. He wants to buy the bovines to make the most of the pasture he owns. He'll feed them and then sell them so he has an additional income, to give his family a better future.
