A loan of $1,475 helped to buy chickens, vitamins, balanced feed, and materials for a shed.

Diana's story

Diana, 29, is an enterprising woman. She lives with René, who has been her partner for several years and with whom she has two children, ages 6 and 2. Currently she lives in her in-laws' house because she's renovating her house on her own plot of land. Meanwhile, she's sharing with them the joy of raising her little ones and seeing them grow.

Diana's job is raising poultry. She renovated a space in the garden of her house where she built a small shed. She has been doing this work for five years and has leaned over time to better develop it. She makes her sales seasonally when she has a certain number of chickens or when her animals have reached their ideal weight. She always works alone while her husband fulfills another work role.

She likes to do her job because it allows her to do other tasks in her home, such as take care of her children or her spouse. She always has enough time to fulfill her job as a mother. Thanks to this job her financial situation is stable and sustainable. She's very optimistic and very much wants to get ahead.

This will be her eighth loan with MFP. She's going to buy baby chickens, vitamins, balanced feed, and some materials she needs to set up her shed.
