A loan of $550 helped to buy wood, 130 shingles, nails and to pay for labor to repair the roof of her house.

María Elena's story

María is 24 years old and is a single mother of two children. She makes a living as a housekeeper for people who pay her for such services. She is a responsible person and this is her first loan.

The loan that she is applying for from Fundación Campo is to buy wood, 130 shingles, nails and to pay for labor to repair the roof of her house. This way, she may have a more dignified house for her family, so that they may live more comfortably.

Among her other plans are to continue improving her house and to build a farm of laying and broiler hens.
