Natividad Evelina, 46, is single and has two children. She lives with her husband and children in the city of Ventanas, Los Ríos Province. She’s in the “San Antonio” communal bank whose members all live in the Recinto Aguas Frías sector; they have practically been raised in this zone and they work in agriculture and animal husbandry.

Natividad works growing corn and cocoa beans and raising chickens and pigs. She’s requesting the loan to buy insecticide, urea, herbicide and animal feed to fatten up the animals. With help from the loan she will be able to buy seeds. She will make her purchases in the city of Ventanas. Her dream is to buy land. The challenge she faces is crop and animal illnesses. In her free time she likes getting together with friends and to go to Mass on Sundays.
