A loan of $600 helped to buy insecticide, urea and herbicide.

Daniel David's story

Daniel David, 32, is single and has no children; he lives with his parents in the city of Ventanas, Los Ríos Province. He’s in the “San Antonio” communal bank whose members work in agriculture and live in the Recinto Aguas Frías sector. They’ve practically been raised in this zone and for the most part work in agriculture and animal husbandry.

Daniel works growing corn. He requests the loan to buy insecticide, urea and herbicide. With help from the loan he will be able to buy seeds to grow corn. He will make his purchases in Ventanas every two weeks.

His dream is to buy land to continue planting and the challenge he faces is plant diseases. In his free time he enjoys watching television and playing sports.
