Mwanatumu has had to go through a lot of adversity in life. Nonetheless, she has kept her entrepreneurial spirit that has allowed her to overcome these difficulties. She is a married mother of two children. She has a general store where she sells food stuffs, medicines, cleaning materials, etc., and that is how she generates income. She opened the store three years ago.
To improve sales, Mwanatumu is seeking a loan to buy basic grains, foodstuffs, and other instant products and thus increase the variety of products she offers her customers so she can improve her sales.
Her dream is to have a bigger business so she can make more income and improve the quality of life for her two children.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
