Perveen's story

Ms. Perveen is 45 years old and a mother of three children. For 15 years, Perveen has been running a business of milk sales. She initiated her own business by buying a buffalo to support her family at a point in time when her husband was the only bread earner. With the passage of time, her sales increased as well as her income. Now she has one buffalo and one cow for milk. This has all happened due to her courage and determination. She also helps her husband in the watering and ploughing of land and cutting of crops. Because of her work, she is respected in her home. She helps her husband in all family matters, including financial matters.

Perveen is in her fourth loan cycle with Kashf Foundation. She has requested a loan of PKR 40,000 to purchase another buffalo. She expects a boost in her business income as she expands her business. She is very thankful to Kashf for its support.
