A loan of $600 helped to put a roof on his home and to buy animal feed.

Victor's story

Victor is 62 years old, single and lives in his grandparents’ home in the marginal urban area in the district of Mórrope, which is a rural area that belongs to the province of Lambayeque and is situated approximately an hour from the city of Chiclayo. There is electricity, and it is a small community with approximately 100 families. Victor’s business is raising and selling animals. He has more than 20 years of experience. He has a large inventory of poultry, as he has ducks, medium and large turkeys, and chickens that he sells once they have been fattened. Victor is requesting a loan of 1500 new Peruvian soles. The loan will be used to invest in putting a roof on his house and to purchase animal feed for his livestock. This business has competition, but it also has a large market.
