A loan of $1,500 helped to buy adobe and wood and to pay for labor to start constructing her house.

Wendy Patricia's story

Wendy is 27 years old and the single mother of one daughter. She has had a very difficult life and has struggled to get by with her daughter. She has always had support from her parents. For three years, she worked in a restaurant in the community where she lives. Currently, she has worked for an NGO for one year. Her job is working with rural families in her community. In her childhood, she went to school and did domestic chores in her household.

The loan she is requesting from the Campo Foundation is to buy adobe and wood, and to pay for labor, so that she can start the construction of her home, since her parents have passed a plot of land on to her so she can build a house. Her desire is to live in a house of her own, with adequate living conditions, together with her daughter.
