Sinoun's Group's story

Sinoun is 26 and lives in a rural area of the Kror Kor district of the Pursat province in Cambodia. She is married. Sinoun has been struggling to feed her children by farming rice on five hectares and raising pigs. She has been in this business for three years. Sinoun is able to earn about KHR 23,000 per day. This is the first microloan for Sinoun’s group of two with Kiva’s partner, VisionFund. She is leading her group to apply for a loan. She wants to use her portion to buy pig feed for her pig business. She hopes this loan will enable her to earn more income from the current business to make a better living.
