A loan of $300 helped to purchase clothing such as pants, shirts, shoes, etc.

Karen Angelica's story

Karen is a 23 year old woman who is originally from Estelí. She lives with her spouse and is the mother of a 6 year old son. She works in retail. Karen started selling clothing with her aunt, who helped her to become independent and start her own business, raising her own capital by saving and taking a small loan. Since she started selling clothing, she has succeeded in moving ahead with the support of her spouse, and this is their only business. She hopes to continue growing her business and increasing her income. Karen is applying for this loan to purchase clothing such as pants, shirts, shoes, etc. Karen believes that by increasing her inventory, she will be able to stock her business well and increase profits. Because the holiday season is approaching and the demand for her products will grow, she would like to prepare to be able to fulfill her customers' orders. Her future plans are to increase her sales and to be able to have more products in inventory.
