A loan of $775 helped to buy more tables to rent out for special events.

Flavia Domitila's story

Flavia, age 51, is a single mother. She lives with her son in a neighborhood north of San Pedro Sula. She works for an assembly plant. Five years ago she decided to use her savings to establish her own business activity.

She offers rental services. She rents out tables, chairs, tablecloths, and arrangements for all type of events like weddings, birthdays, graduations, and others. Since the beginning it has been promoted, and she now has her own clientele.

She is requesting a loan for 15,000 lempiras to buy more tables for her business and to cover the demand she has for the end of this year. Her dream is that her business grows, that she has a variety of services, and that she is able to get her family ahead with the help of the loans.
