A loan of $1,500 helped to buy merchandise.

Jorge Luis's story

Jorge Luis, 22, lives in the department of La Paz in the Sopocachi area. He began to work in this business at the age of 20. He sells music CDs and movies on DVD and Blu-ray so he can get more income to be able to cover his expenses for food and some services. Jorge Luis became independent at the age of 18, but currently he lives in his mother's house where he contributes to the household expenses. He sells in different spots at street fairs, markets, etc. He has two years of experience in this business and he makes the sacrifice with a variety of schedules so he can sell more. The loan he's requesting is to buy merchandise (CDs, DVDs, etc.) for the end of the year when there's more demand and sales are better. This way he can get ahead and realize many more of his dreams, specifically to have a store of his own in the future where he can sell his products and achieve his goals and dreams.
