The group Niño Jesus formed through the administration and support of a group of women who found themselves working in the same place and they wanted to help other women be able to progress in the same way that they had been able to.

Mrs. Lourdes is a member of this group, she is a person that has always been working and has shown herself to want to be successful and to better herself. She sells all kinds of garments and lingerie. She has a lot of customers since she always has new items with her that she can offer her customers and in this way she is able to attract a following. Lourdes dreams of being able to have her own store one day and to continue working and to give a place to work to other people. She is asking for this loan in order to purchase more lingerie for men and women and to be able to have a greater variety of garments to offer her customers.

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
