A loan of $650 helped to purchase a calf and sheep.

Anarkul's story

Anarkul is 46 years old and lives with her husband. She was born into a simple farming family with many children, and from the time she was small she was very independent and helped her mother run the household. She has a high school education. Together with her husband, she has raised three wonderful daughters. Anarkul is a very kind, cheerful and honest woman. Her husband helps her around the house and in his spare time he works as a mechanic.

Since the year 2000, Anarkul has begun to raise and sell livestock. Their starting capital was 8,400 som (KGS), with which they bought eight sheep. Thanks to their hard work and diligence, they now have two cows, one calf and ten sheep on their farm. Their monthly income is approximately 15,000 som (KGS). With the goal of increasing her head of livestock in the future, Anarkul has turned to "Bai Tushum and Partners" for a loan of 30,000 som (KGS) for the purchase of a calf and some sheep. With the proceeds from this loan, she plans on increasing the size of her herd so she can in turn improve her family's living conditions.
