Shamila's story

28 year old Shamila is a good woman. She is kind and very responsible. She is married to her partner with whom she has three children of 8, 5, and 3 years of age. She has her own house, where she lives together with her 3 young children and her spouse. She works a lot to be able to offer a greater quality of life to her family. Shamila's work consists of food sales. The main dish that she offers her customers is "chicken soup" She has a stand in a busy street in the city that is adjacent to the fishing port and other public entities, which permits her to have a great number of customers that go in search of the delicious and hearty soups, as only she knows how to prepare. She has done this work more than 2 years and it is going very well. Moreover, she has a mototaxi which she bought with the help of her spouse, and that generates an additional economic income. She really likes what she does since it allows her to have time available in the evenings and to be quiet in her house with her children. Additionally she feels that it is going very well since she generates economic income doubly for her household. She hopes later to have a business in her house related to the technical vehicular sector so that she can work together with her spouse.

This is her 4th loan with MFP. It is for this that she is grateful to all the people who have made her loans possible to continue doing her work with the greatest results. Furthermore, she promises one more time to make the payments of her dues punctually, as she has in previous loans that she had. Additionally, she is grateful to be part of her communal bank because all the members are responsible and very supportive people.

The requested loan of 1000 soles will be used to purchase some ingredients and supplies, such as chicken meat, noodles, potatoes, eggs, condiments, and others. Otherwise she will purchase some pots and utensils that she needs to continue doing her work.
