Senia, 39, is a single mother; she has six children and lives in a village in the municipality of San Nicolás, Santa Bárbara with her mother and children. This business has been her source of income for family support and she’s kept it going by means of several loans. She’s been a client for 14 cycles including the present one. This loan request is for 10,000 Lempiras that she will use to buy raw materials like flour, sugar, eggs, shortening, margarine, milk, yeast and other ingredients needed to make bread. She’s used the loans to maintain her sales and production levels as well as to retain her customers. Her goal is to continue working in her business to earn income and to provide her children with the necessary schooling.
