Annie's story

Annie, 39, is very brave, hardworking woman who is the mother of two children who are 18 and 9 years old and the result of her relationship with her spouse. She owns a house where she shares the joy every day of raising her children and working hard to give them the best. In addition to them, a young man who helps with the daily work lives there with them too. Annie’s business consists primarily in selling clothes of all brands, style, sizes and colors. She has a small sales stand that the young man she hired works at. She renews her merchandise bi-weekly or monthly buying it at wholesale in a different city. Her sales point is located in a very busy avenue in the city. Since starting the business she’s always worked with help from another person. She started two years ago and has seen that it’s a very profitable activity because it generates good income that helps her cover family expenses.

In addition, she also has a first-aid station that she opened four years ago putting into practice the skills she’s acquired in her nursing courses. What she likes about her activity is that it lets her tend to her family whenever necessary; in addition, all her sales are cash which means no problems are generated. She hopes to continue working like she’s done to date and gradually furnish her clothing sales locale and acquire new furnishing for her first-aid station.

This is MFP loan #4 and she’s very grateful for the credit opportunity she’s being granted and for the financial back-up she needs to continue forward. She commits to make her monthly payments punctually and to continue working with much responsibility along with her fellow communal bank members. She will use the requested 3,500 soles to buy a lot of merchandise consisting of shirts, pants and blouses and she will also buy a pair of display cases to better show her wares.
