To help expand her business, Maud has requested a loan of 2000000 UGX from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase more items for the business, such us sugar and all types of flour, helping Maud to generate greater profits and increase her family's income. Maud hopes that in the future she will be able to educate her children up to university.

Maud is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Maud who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
