A loan of $1,450 helped to buy farming supplies and a cow.

Santiago's story

Santiago only finished elementary school at his neighborhood school. He is single and lives in the Sullcavi Titiri community within the Aroma province. When he was young he went to Brazil to work but didn’t earn a good salary. He worked like a slave and returned to his native community to care for his 85 year old mother when his father passed away. His mother gave him some farmland to work and he needs resources to increase his production, buy a water pump, and a dairy cow so that he can use the milk to make cheese. This will increase his income so that he can get ahead.
