A loan of $925 helped to buy fertilizer and clear her land.

Irinea's story

Irinea and her husband Angelino live in a community where the main source of income is coffee and they are coffee planters. She learned what she needed for the production and so far this has been her work. The coffee Irinea and her husband produce is organic because they don't use fertilizer that have chemical products. During the last harvest Irinea was able to produce a total of four tons of export quality coffee and for the next harvest she is planning on increasing production by fertilizing the land and clearing them. For Irinea to make this possible, she needs a loan which she will pay off after the harvest. Irinea's land has a dam that they want to repair since it is the dry season and they use the water to irrigate their crops.
