A loan of $400 helped a member to buy fertilizer for her farmland.

Horn's Group's story

A villager from the Pursat province’s Kror Kor district, Horn is 57 years old and widowed. She has one dependent child who is still in school. The main source of her family’s income is from rice farming on two hectares of farmland. She also complements her income by raising pigs. Having been in this business for four years, she is able to earn a daily income of KHR 12,000, and she can save about KHR 6,000 per day for future needs.

Horn is taking her first loan from VisionFund, while her husband has been with VisionFund for one cycle. Now she is leading her group to request a loan, and will use her portion to buy fertilizer for her farmland. She hopes to increase her crop yields so as to make a better living and keep her child in school.
