A loan of $925 helped to buy used clothes to resell.

Sali's story

Sali is a hard working young man who works from morning until night to provide for his family of four. He is 24 years old and a Roma from the vulnerable ethnic minority community of central Albania. He has two children who are five years old and two months old and he is married. He sells old clothes in the Roma market in the city where he resides and sometimes he goes to other parts of the region to sell. Sali has been in this type of activity since 2009 and has made progress, he said. He now wants to buy more used items, specifically clothes, and of course, to sell more. A loan of 100,000 Albanian Lek would help him achieve his immediate goal. When it comes to longer-term goals, Sali wants to educate his children and build a better living place for them. Kindly note that Sali is a respected young man in his Roma community.
