Teodolinda's story

Teodolina, 53, is single and has three children. She lives with three grandchildren in a community in Morazán, Yoro Department. For the last seven years she’s been selling clothes and shoes in a stationary way. In order to generate extra income she also raises pigs. She was motivated to start her business in order to support her grandchildren helping to raise and school them. She’s asking for a 12,000 Lempira loan to buy clothes and shoes for women, men and children. She feels that the loan will help her increase her inventory and have a good selection of merchandise to satisfy customer demand for the Christmas season.
