A loan of $775 helped to buy fertilizer and to pay labor costs.

José Rodolfo's story

José, 34, lives in free union with his wife; they have three children. He lives with his family in a rural community in Victoria municipality, Yoro Department. José has been working in agriculture since he was very young, specifically growing basic grains and vegetables. He’s asking for a 15,000 Lempira loan to buy fertilizer and to pay for laborers to better care for his watermelon, chili and corn crops. With financial support he hopes to improve the quality of his crops to sell them at a better price. He will use profits obtained to continue paying for his children’s schooling and to save up part of them in order to have economic back-up.
