Mikheil's story

Mikheil is from Kareli district. He is 34 years old and lives with his wife and mother. Mikheil’s mother works at the local self-government institution and gets a monthly salary. Mikheil is involved in an agricultural business. In particular, he owns a plot of land where apple, wheat, haricots and onions are grown. He does all relevant agricultural works to ensure a good quality harvest. The harvested products are sold locally. Mikhei is very hard-working man, with a rich experience in his work.

He requested a loan to purchase boxes for apples, and cover the costs related to harvesting apples. Mikheil will pay for workers and will be able to keep the apples in boxes in proper time. This will make sure not to rot the products during winter season. Mikheil will sell apples after several months, when the price and demand are higher and this will significantly increase the family income.
