Minati's story

Minati is a 43-year-old divorced lady living with her brother and sister-in-law. She owns and manages a dairy farm where she has one cow. She sells eight liters of milk per day and earns 3,000 INR per month. Her monthly income is not enough for her family. After she got divorced from her husband, she came back to her brother's house. She does not want to be a burden on him so she started selling milk in her village. . She wants to purchase two Jersey cows for her farm as the demand for cow’s milk has increased in the village. She also has a plan to repair the shed for her cattle and enlarge it. . She has requested a loan of 25,000 INR to purchase two cows and renovate the shed. In the future, she wants to enlarge her farm and sell more milk products like yogurt, butter etc.

She has a dream of giving a quality life to her family and saving some money for her future.
