A loan of $375 helped to buy pens, pencils, paper, white boards, and other office supplies needed in her business.

Crizelda's story

This is Crizelda, 61, a resident of Taguig, Philippines. A single woman, she manages her household while operating her business. At this time, she is working hard to provide income for her everyday expenses.

Crizelda operates a school/office supplies business. At her business, one can buy school supplies like pens, bond paper, cartolina paper and the like, without going to a bookstore. Crizelsa gets the supplies at wholesale prices and sells them by the piece. Her store is adjacent to her house. Her regular customers are her neighbors and the local community. She earns a minimum of PHP 500 in sales every day.

To help her continue operations of her business, she is requesting a PHP 15,000 loan. She will be utilizing the loan to buy school supplies to expand her product inventory. She expects a boost in her business income as she expands her business.

Crizelda dreams of having a better life through all her hard work on her business. She faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week, where she can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay Micro Finance loans.
