A loan of $550 helped to pay for fabric, thread, and other items needed in her tailoring business.

Raquel's story

This is Raquel. She previously borrowed a loan of 14,000 Philippines pesos (PHP), which she used to purchase quantities of raw materials like fabric, thread, and other materials needed in her business. Her earnings were a big help for the education of her children and in her personal, household, and business expenditures.

She would like to apply for another 22,000 PHP loan to buy additional supplies of raw materials like fabric, thread, and other products needed in her business. Her profits from her business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs and educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Raquel hopes that her business will grow more and dreams that her children will finish their studies. She values the time spent in the weekly fellowship* as it strengthen her faith in God.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay Micro Finance loans.
