A loan of $575 helped to buy parts and accessories for her fleet of motorcycle taxis.

Milka's story

Milka, 44, is an enterprising and very hardworking woman. She's single and has no children. She lives in her parents' house with only her brother, who is her main company and her best motivation for moving forward.

Milka's job is renting motorcycle taxis. She has three vehicles that she managed to get thanks to previous loans from the institution, supplementing with some savings she had been accumulating for some time. She has experienced drivers who arrive at her house very early to get the vehicles they drive through the streets of the city.

She has been in this business for more than 10 years and it's going very well for her because she has a fixed daily income that helps her cover the basic household expenses. She works supervising the taxis with the help of her brother, a mechanic who provides all the necessary mechanical assistance.

What she likes about her job is that she can organize her time and spend her free time as she likes. She says this way she's a capable and independent woman. She hopes to continue working and carrying out her duties to the best of her ability. Her big desire is to set up a formal and more productive business in the food sector in her own house.

This is her second loan with MFP. This is why she's grateful to those who make the loan possible, which will help her fulfill her objectives. She also comments that she's comfortable with her communal bank because she knows the members and considers them responsible and supportive people.

With the requested amount of 1500 soles [PEN] she'll buy spare parts and accessories to improve her fleet of motorcycle taxis.
