A loan of $1,150 helped to buy beverages.

Maritza's story

Maritza, 49, is a courageous and hardworking woman. She's married to Max and has six children with him. They work a lot to be able to get the family ahead and give them a better quality of life.

Maritza's job is selling beverages such as soda and beer. She has two refrigerators in her house where every day she freezes all the drinks that she later sells to her occasional customers. Fortunately it's going very well for her and her sales improve all the time. She also sells ice and lollipops, which pleases her customers and also generates additional income for her household.

She has been in this business for more than eight years, and her children help her while her husband does other work. What she likes about her job is she can work with her children and have the time she needs to do other activities.

Her business gives her good profits because she's very well known in her area because of the job she does. She hopes to maintain the same rhythm of work. In the future she wants to expand, with a greater number of products that her neighborhood customers request, and become a distribution center.

This is her eleventh loan with MFP and she hopes for your contribution so she can continue with her objectives and planned growth. She's also very determined to make her payments on time as she has done up to now with her previous loans. She's very happy to belong to her group because all the members are very punctual and responsible.

With the requested amount of 3000 soles [PEN] she'll buy more drinks to have in stock and be able to fulfill her customers' orders.
