Diógenes Vicente, 32, is in a common-law relationship and has two children. He lives with his wife and children in the city of Ventanas, Los Ríos Province.

He's a member of Avanza Communal Bank. The members make a living in agriculture, and they all live in the area of Recinto Aguas Frías. They have practically grown up in that area. They mostly make a living in farming and livestock.

Diógenes Vicente makes a living in agriculture growing corn. He also raises chickens and pigs. He's requesting the loan to buy inputs, urea, liquid weedkiller, and fertilizer. With the help of the loan he'll be able to continue growing with his crops.

He'll make his purchases in the city of Ventanas. The challenges he faces are pests and bad weather. His dream is to continue working in agriculture to prosper. In his free time he likes to be a soccer referee.
