Kayatu's story

Kayatu is 26. She lives together with her friend at West Point, and has completed high school education. She has two
children between the ages of 3 and 5. Only one of the children lives with her at home and is attending school, while the other child stay with an aunt. Her friend works as a mechanic. Kayatu has been involved in used clothing sales, for the past five years. She sells used cloth like bed sheets and curtains. She started this business with the little amount of 8000 LD. She makes profits when she sells, and with the profit she buys more goods for the business. She has requested a loan to purchase more used clothes for the business. Her plan for the future is to educate her children and build a house.
