A loan of $400 helped to buy cheese molds.

Denisse's story

Denisse, 29, is an admirable woman. She lives together with her parents and siblings in their own house. Since she was young, she took responsibility for her family’s business. She distributes her time between selling cheese and studying business administration in an accredited university in the city. In the town of Yauyos, she has a farm where she takes care of 100 cows. Her parents make the cheese from their milk and she sells it according to the molds’ weight.

She receives orders from various neighboring cities, where people know about the good quality of the farm's products. In order to assure the product’s quality she travels two times a month. The family also raises sheep and sells their meat. "Some months, orders outrun my production, so I have to buy from other farmers in order to stock my business", she says. She has now many orders and expects to be able to serve them, since her objective is to industrialize her production of cheese.

Denisse is a member of the "San Lorenzo" group and this is the second credit with MFP, so she expects to get a small loan in order to meet her goals. On the other hand she promises to pay the installments in time, just as she did with the previous loan. She enjoys being a part of the association because all its members are responsible persons and work together as a team.

In case she gets this loan, she will invest it in cheese molds for her business.
